Jen has been researching her family history for 40 years or so. She is a proud Australian and the stories of her ancestors – especially the females – are part of Australia’s heritage. Ancestors left difficult lives in England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales to build a future in the Australian colonies. Many passed through Ballarat, which is a central character in my family’s history.
